1953 cadillac series 62 convertible - utah showroom the 1953 series 62 saw a redesigned grille with heavier integral bumper and bumper guards, the repositioning of parking lamps directly under the headlights, chrome "eybrow" type headlamp doors, and one piece rear windows without division bars. Wheel discs were fashioned in an attractive new disced design. Series 62 bodystyles were identified by non louvered rear fenders, the use of thin bright metal underscores on the bottom rear of the cars only and the decoration of both hood and deck lid with cadillac crests and v- shaped ornaments. As a result, oldsmobiles and cadillacs during the downtime were assembled with buick's dynaflow transmission. This series 62 convertible has been treated to an extensive ground up restoration. The paint is near flawless and extensive restoration was doen on the chrome trim and bright work. The interior has been re-stiched in original type pattern and features cadillac amenities such as power windows, seat and convertible top. The 160 hp, 331 cu in overhead valve v-8 has been rebuilt and features the ultra rare dynaflow transmission. Power steering and brakes are also options on this car. Other mechanical refurbishing includes recent front suspension alignment. This cadillac is presented nicely with kelsey-hayes wire wheels and wide white wall tires. Power Windows

1957 cadillac eldorado biarritz convertible - utah showroom the cadillac eldorado was introduced in 1953 to commemorate cadillac's golden anniversary, and the name, appropriately enough, means "the gilded one" in spanish. Those first eldorados featured gm's first wraparound windshield, lowered ride height, every option cadillac offered and a special hard parade boot for the convertible top. The latter came in handy as a seat for the honoree of a ticker take parade, or the president-elect of the united states for that matter, considering that dwight eisenhower was driven to his inauguration in an alpine white eldorado on january 30, 19583. Until 1955 all eldorado were convertibles, but a hardtop coupe was added for 1956. To differentiate, the hardtop was named the eldorado seville, while the convertible was known as the eldorado biarritz. All eldorado models since 1955 could be visually distinguished from other caddies by their "rocket" tail fins. Naturally, a top of the line cadillac like this one came very well-equipped. Power steering, brakes, windows, and seat were standard. The compression of the 365 v8 was raised for 1957, but power actually dropped a bit because the formerly standard dual quads were made optional. This particular example was treated to a body-off restoration in 1997 and in 2000 , a new owner rebuilt the engine and transmission and replaced the top, tiers, socks and wiring at a cost of $27,500. It has been driven less than 3,500 miles since then and remains in impeccable condition. Come with full documentation of all mechanical work performed since 1997.

1955 cadillac eldorado conv - utah showroom for 1955, the eldorado's body gained its own rear end styling with high, slender, pointed tailfins. These contrasted with the rather thick, bulbous fins which were common at the time and were an example of the eldorado once again pointing the way forward. The eldorado sport convertible featured extras such as wide chrome body belt moldings and twin round taillights halfway up the fenders. Sales nearly doubled to 3,950. Flawlessly restored, this eldorado is among the finest in existance. The brightwork and eldorado-specifig pot metal is breath taking. Every effort was made to restore this car to better than new condition. It features the 2x4 carburetor intake with "batwing" air cleaner. It also has the parade boot and sabre wheels.
