1954 kaiser darrin - utah showroom this ultra-rare 1954 kaiser darrin roadster came from a private collection. These fiberglass body cars were produced for only one year, 1954, in toledo, oh, by the willys motor company. This car is #253 of the 430 kaiser darrin roadsters built. Kaiser darrin cars came from the factory on a 100" wheelbase, with a 161ci engine and 3-speed manual transmission standard. These cars rode on a more modern independent coil wishbone front suspension with a live rear axle on leaf spring rear. This kaiser darrin with its unique pocket doors was restored and refinished in the rare and correct original radiant red color with an ivory leather interior. All interior, exterior and engine finishes were replicated as was original. Although completely rebuilt, the engine is still the original 161ci 6 cylinder motor with which it was born. It comes with all factory books.
